Terms and Conditions

Billing

Snappy Scoops operates on a prepay system, meaning all balances are due on the 1st of the month before receiving service. Failure to pay by the due date may result in service suspension until the account is brought current.

One-Time Cleanups

  • One-time cleanups will be billed at our base rate of $70 before service is completed.
  • If additional time is required, an extra invoice will be sent after service is complete for the remaining balance.

Initial Cleanups for Regular Service Customers

  • For new recurring customers, the initial cleanup invoice will be sent after the initial cleanup is completed.
  • This invoice will include: The initial cleanup fee (if applicable).
  • Any services performed at the time of cleanup.
  • A prorated amount for the remainder of the month.
  • After this, all future service payments will follow the standard prepay system, with payment due on the 1st of the month before service is provided.

All invoices must be paid on time to avoid late fees or service suspension.

 

Waste Disposal Policy

Waste will be double-bagged and disposed of in the customer’s trash bin. If the trash bin is not accessible or is full, the waste will be neatly placed at the side of the house for the customer to dispose of at their convenience. You can add Waste Haul-Away for an additional $5 per visit by letting us know or adding the service in your client portal.

Client Responsibilities

As the client, you are responsible for:

  • Notifying us of hazardous materials or conditions in the yard, such as broken glass or sharp objects, to ensure the safety of our staff.
  • Maintaining safe access into and out of the yard. If we are unable to clean due to access issues, you will still be charged for the missed cleanup.
  • Immediately notifying us of any changes in the number of pets.
  • Prompt payment of balances due.

Yard Maintenance

Clients are responsible for maintaining their yards in a condition that allows for safe and efficient waste removal. Additionally, pets should be secured during the cleanup to avoid any safety concerns for our staff. This includes:

  • Keeping grass trimmed to a reasonable length.
  • Removing excessive leaves or debris.
  • Ensuring clear access to all areas where pets defecate.

While we strive to provide thorough service in all conditions, we cannot guarantee complete waste removal in yards that are excessively overgrown or cluttered. In such cases, we reserve the right to determine if the yard is safe and accessible enough for service. If we deem the yard unsuitable for cleaning, the client will still be responsible for the scheduled service fee.

Holidays and Rescheduling

During holidays, we will reach out to customers to inform them of their modified cleanup day. If this day does not work for the client, they may skip the service or work with us to choose an alternate day that accommodates their schedule. The following week, clients will return to their normal scheduled service day.

Weather & Missed Visits Policy

Inclement weather may make it hazardous or impossible to perform a scheduled cleanup. In such cases, we will try to reschedule and service your yard as soon as possible without additional charges. If rescheduling is not possible, we will skip the week and return on your next regularly scheduled visit.

Missed Visit Policy: If a visit is skipped due to weather or other uncontrollable circumstances, we do not offer refunds or credits for the skipped visit. Instead, the next regular service will include a double cleanup at no additional charge to ensure your yard remains clean and well-maintained.

If your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (e.g., vacation, illness), please notify us in advance to pause the service and avoid unnecessary charges.

Fees & Promotions

Fees and promotions are subject to change at any time. In such cases, you will be notified at least two (2) weeks prior via email or text message to ensure clear communication.

Free First Cleaning & Deodorizer Promotion

The free first cleaning and deodorizer promotion is only available to weekly service customers. Customers who choose bi-weekly or monthly service will be required to pay an initial cleanup fee as follows:

  • $50 for 1 dog
  • $60 for 2 dogs
  • $70 for 3 dogs
  • $80 for 4 dogs

Additionally, weekly service customers must prepay at least one full month of service based on the number of dogs in their household before canceling. If a customer cancels before fulfilling this requirement, the initial cleanup fee will be applied retroactively and charged at the rates listed above.

Liability

We assume no liability for damages to yards, gates, pets, or other properties.

Cancellation Policy

Either party may terminate service in writing at any time. Unpaid balances are due at cancellation.

Late Fee Policy

1. Payment Terms

Invoices are due immediately upon receipt (NET0). A valid credit or debit card must be kept on file for all active accounts. Payment will be charged automatically after each service unless prior arrangements are made.

2. Late Fees and Penalties

  • 30 Days Past Due: $15 or 1.5% of the outstanding balance, whichever is greater.
  • 60 Days Past Due: Additional $25 or 3% of the outstanding balance, whichever is greater.
  • 90 Days Past Due: Additional $35 or 6% of the outstanding balance, whichever is greater. At this stage, services will be suspended until the account is brought current.

3. Interest on Unpaid Balances

Balances that remain unpaid for over 90 days will accrue interest at an annual rate of 6% (0.5% per month) until paid in full.

4. Collection Policy

Accounts unpaid after 90 days may be sent to collections at Snappy Scoops’ discretion. The customer is responsible for any collection costs, including but not limited to legal fees and collection agency charges.

5. Disputes & Card Declines

If a card on file is declined, a $10 decline fee will be assessed. Customers must update their payment method within 5 business days to avoid service disruption.

6. Communication

Snappy Scoops will notify customers of overdue balances at 30, 60, and 90 days via email, text message, and/or phone call using the contact information provided at signup.

By using Snappy Scoops’ services, customers agree to these payment terms and conditions.

Agreement

By initiating service, both parties agree to the above terms and responsibilities.
